A couple days ago, the steel baffle on my Regency Hearth Heater 2100 fell down (#39 on pg 18 (broken link removed to http://regency-fire.com/Files/Manuals/I3100-908-332.aspx)). The instructions on installing them is mildly confusing. I was wondering if anyone out there had better instructions/tips for installation. Does the steel baffle rest on the front air tube? I never remembered a plate resting on it before.

Thanks in advance!

Push the baffle all the way to the rear. There should be an insulation blanket covering the entire baffle & 3 weights holding the insulation in place. Make sure the insulation does not get bunched up at the rear of the baffle & block the flue, or you will get smoke spillage when you load...
