I have a similar mower and splitter but no hitch on the mower. Can you please show us what you did to mount a ball on the mower? I hand move my huskee 22 splitter and would like to tow it!

i welded up a tow ball to some square tubing then to a flat plate and bolted it to the mover, the set up was actually on my other mower that now is not in use, just 1 bolt lined up but it is enough for what i need. I will take a pic soon as i get a chance

I've seen those big commercial ones and even bought a commercial one from lowes that managed to bend the little bottom hitch hole. Seems like we just need to fabricate something.

Interesting, you grabbed the bolts for the bagger system. Since the bagger must be off anyways, and since the full bags are quite heavy, that seems like a great idea. Thank you for shooting pics.

I have this and I love it. I used to have one from Lowe’s and it bent the bottom hole mount. Got this for Christmas last year and it works great. Has brackets on top to help prevent it from bending the bottom hitch hole mount. I’ve definitely overloaded the mower and the only issue is it lifts the front end off the ground when trying to move. Well that and probably not good for the drivetrain either.

I built one for my sport type ATV. That type doesn't have much to attach anything to. I used pipe clamps around the axle housing then some plates all bolted together. I changed the splitter to a 2 inch ball.
I really like the high hitch idea. Flipping up the leg on the splitter is a pain.

Fellas - just please be careful when lifting and extending (backwards) the hitch position on these little tractors. Pulling things from a position that is above the axle will result in a lifting reaction to the front wheels. There are plenty of old farmers that got dead when their tractor flipped over onto them.
