Minnesota and Wisconsin are supposed to get up to 10" new snow and high winds, temperature drops to follow... stock up on those pellets...

Just installed a new water line as the internal heat trace died (1-1/2 old and $500). No heat trace to be had locally - son brought some from Thunder Bay. After a week with the only running water we had was how fast we could run ... glad to be back up! Appreciated the window of moderate temps to get it done.

Lousy winter:(

They are calling for the possibility of 15" here now.
Moving a lot slower than first thought. I am just west of it thankfully and is still 32f and no wind. Have to take the dogs for another walk before the freezer door opens up again.

Supposed to be mixed weather here, however not as bad as north or south of us. Fingers crossed for the forecasted 5-10 cm and 1 mm of rain/ice.

Rain and thunder here......

My outdoor temp is 51.4° as I type...and today is not supposed to be as warm as Friday! :) next week is looking cold. Happy tohave the warm spell to eject ALL the snow from my roof.

Pushing 50 through the weekend. Snow, Sun-Mon, Snow, Wed, Vortex, Thursday. Farmer's Almanac spot on this year! NE---brutally cold and snowy 2nd half of winter.
GOT PELLETS?

Have read of concerns of tornadoes were the two fronts meet .... hopefully not. Puts my big sister in the bull' eye.

Friends in KY and TN are in for a rough day or two again.

3.5 hours in to the storm and we have 6" already. This is suppose to last for the next 12 hours or so. I hope it slows down or this is gonna hurt. After this is done the next 9 days will have lows and some highs in the negatives. This has been a long winter. :( However I love my warm stove. :)

We actually lost some snow without getting the flood issues like down south. Supposed to get only get about 5-10 cm tonight. Easily managable. Keep safe.
