Bees in chimney?

Those groggy buggers are queens. They are the only ones that winter over by hibernation, find them all the time in my stacks during the winter when i am bringing more into the porch area. Course they do not survive the move if I see them.

Ah, a queen! I wish I'd known that last night when I saw it! I just went outside and checked to see if it was still on the porch but naturally it's long gone - probably back into my wall (hope not!)
