how do I know if I need to replace Baffles and is there a Catalyst on this fireplace and if there is where is it

The BIS Tradition is a non-cat fireplace with secondary tubes. The 2 boards above the secondary tubes are the baffle boards. If one or both are cracked or damaged they should replaced.
