Blaze King Ashford Power Hook Up

Hey folks
I’ve settled on a dealer and the Ashford 25 insert! My question is:
Does the Ashford come with a fan?
My power supply is to the right of the hearth, and would have to run in front of the fire place. (Wifey does not like that at all).

Is there an option to install an outlet inside the fireplace behind the unit?

Ashford 25 does come with the fans.

From what I’ve heard the power cord needs to be accessible per code.

I ran a piece of AC to a handybox through a mortar joint in my fireplace and plugged in back there.

Not sure if this is legal for you (or me).

Many manufacturers make an inside wiring kit. Essentially it’s a piece of armored cable and a handy box. Do you have a basement that allows you access to a clean out below the fireplace?
