Does anyone remove their block off plate and inspect how things are doing above it annually? Just a thought that came up as I am about to clean out the stove and liner.

thanks!

No i dont. When using a liner and block off plate it stays clean above block off plate when sealed at top of chimney

unless its is not lined to the top, meaning only lined to the first old flue tile. The you will have to pull the stove to clean.
