Hello,
I am new to this forum.
I bought a small Regency wood burning stove back around 1990. It is a pedestal stove with a glass door.
I think the model is F1100. I want to buy a blower for it. The original blower is pricey. I see a blower that looks like it will fit. It is GFK-160. does anyone know what will fit my stove? Does anyone know the model number of the original Regency blower?

Thanks Bill

846-515 is the number for the F1100...Are you sure of your model #?
The GFK-160 is a Heat n Glo blower system. You may have to get creative to make it work

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the model is F1100.
The GFK-160 I saw on ebay has magnets to keep it on.
Is the fan powerful enough to work ok?

Those magnets are used to keep the blower in position on the FLOOR of a gas fireplace.
I don't know that they are strong enough to secure the lower in another position.

Thanks for the info. I am learning a lot.

If you want to move the heat to the other side of your home, try a small desk fan sitting on the floor blowing cold air towards the room where the stove is. That will generate a convective loop pulling warm air from the stove room along the ceiling towards the location of the fan. Of course, you need a straight line between fan and stove room; does not work well around corners.
