I have a Hearthstone Homestead located on the hearth in front of our fireplace opening. I had to go with the 4 inch legs, therefore I can not install the blower that goes with the stove. However, I was thinking that I could mount one on the top of the fireplace opening that would blow across the top of the stove. Has anyone mounted a blower in this fashion before? Also, what is the quietest blower out there (wife's requirement)?
