Bought a tri axle load of logs

About a month ago I bought a tri axle load of logs for $1040. It was sold as an 8+ cord load.

These are all 24foot logs.

I've got these two piles so far. About 10 cord by my calculations.

I've still got a few big oaks to cut up. Maybe another cord there.

I'm at 10 cord stacked so far.

Not according to those pics, 5 palletsX4palletsX5' high is about 7 1/2 cords. Still a good deal.

There are 20 pallets there. One pile measures 8x16 4ft high the other is 12x16 4 ft high. The big pile is 6 cord, the smaller is 4 cord. Every row is a cord.

You could get super picky and say my ends being stacked that way might knock off a tiny bit.

On my truck load like that I get between 9 and 11 cords depending on the truck driver
and how he stacks the logs on the truck . I always ask for this one driver in because
they are my logs and I am paying for the trucking so I want as much as possible per load
he loads them very tight . I don't like to spend money on empty space

The guy I got this from I've known for 35+ years. I've bought loads like this from him before and knew it would be a good load.
