How about corrugated stainless steel tubing? The ones used for flexible water heater connectors have a max temp. rating of 190F but I assume thats because of the EPDM gaskets.

Might replacing the gaskets with something of higher temperature service make them suitable?

If you really want braided hose you can go with Teflon braided hose good for 500 degrees F. Its very expensive and most folks do without.

I just use truck heater hose from pex to pump connection. Rated for higher than 212 boiling point(which the boiler will never get bear anyway) works awesome. Nice and flexible.

Corrugated stainless is okay, depending on the gaskets. There are certainly ones that do not have EPDM or rubber gaskets that will work.
The ones shown in the first post have gaskets I would be nervous with.
Hose is not a decent choice for a permanent connection IMHO.

If you use hose, you want something with an O2 barrier for use in a closed loop system. We learned that expensive lesson with Entran and SolaRoll.

What size do you need? Corrugated stainless is common for solar, which can run 300 plus under stagnation conditions. The tube and compression style fittings get $$ in large diameters.

250° 200psi They do show an EPDM gasket on the swivel ends.

Haha sorry on the quick reply. I was talking about on an open system side using the radiator hose. I don't see it as any issue sinc they last for 20 + years on a vehicle.

I was interested in 2 1-1/4 flex connectors about a foot long. I cannot seem to find them on that link you provided.

I think they will build most any size and length, these are in their online catalog. I have another source in the south for custom made versions. I had some 2" X 12" with union ends made.

I know having some short flexible stuff in a couple of strategic spots would have made my install a heck of a lot easier. I think I posted a similar thread on here back then, but I couldn't find anything in this neck of the woods, or even orderable. So I carried on making ridgid stuff fit. Was tedious work - but I'm no pipefitter. Be sure to post back if you find a good source, for future reference - sometimes living on this side of the border is a big PITA for sourcing certain things.

generally all larger cities have hose shops. They build custom hoses and connectors for backhoes, farm and industrial applications. Even in fairly small Springfield Mo we have 3 hose shops.

This company is in western Canada, I'll bet there are some others scattered across Canada, at least on the duty feee side..
