I am burning bit coal in the above mention Regular Buck Insert. This stove is 20+ years old. It was designed to burn soft coal and wood. I am having some issues with the coal stove not putting out enough heat with the coal. Burning coal should just burn circles around wood. I am using an after market coal grate due to the inexistance of the coal kit that Buck Stoves made for it. Any help would be appriciated. If anyone has one of these Buck Coal Kits let me know and we will talk.
Thanks
