Any suggestion where the fuel adjustment rod should be ? Saw 2 different you tubes on it one suggested half closed another suggested 80% closed . Installer said leave it all the way open Burning Curran pellets. Flame at open up max is 14-16 inches tall no soot 1/2 way open flame at 12 to 14 no soot 80% to 85% flame tops out at 9 to 12 but as low as 2 to 4 inches above burn pot no soot Any ideas would be great New Stove new to pellets what should flames vary from?

Go by your owners manual, on setting the flame height. And different brand pellets will burn differently, so adjustments will need to be made when changing brands. Also depends on house it is in as far as vacuum of home etc.kap
