I have been saving deer hearts and livers from this fall's hunting trips, I like to cut them into strips for jerky and dehydrate them into dog treats for my retriever rather than letting the coyotes get them. I do the same with any ducks, pheasants, and geese that get too shot up. I got to wondering if I could lay down some aluminum foil or a cookie sheet on top of the stove as a drip tray, and set a cookie cooling rack of some sort on top and let my stove do the work. Anyone have any input good or bad?
