I have one of these magnetic stovetop thermometers and it reads 100 degrees below the actual temp. Is there a way to adjust them? I see no adjustment so thinking only way might be to bend them? I tried once and didn't seem like it would work.

I have a Rutland thermometer that read about 100 degrees too cold when I got it. I bent the arm a little until it matched my infrared thermometer. Now it tracks it pretty decent.

I use that thermometer as something I can glance at to see how hot the stove is in general. If it’s really high it gets my attention to turn down the air.

I’m gonna grab one of the Auber thermometers for next winter. I like that it has the alarm.
