I'm restoring this 118 b I picked up for $300. Are these casting dates I found on the pieces?

Looks like the lower tag might be. If so it looks like it was cast in 1976 (or 78?). If restoring, disassemble it completely and redo all the seams. Hearthstone makes a good cement for this - (broken link removed to https://www.lehmans.com/product/hearthstone-stove-cement/)

I wasn't sure. Thanks for the info. I love this thing though. Its beautiful!
 
It's a good heater too when all the parts are in good shape.
