My Dovre Aurora 700 from 1993 is really showing signs of wear and age, the door is warped, some of the old caulking is gone, had to stuff rope gasket in some seams, and I'm sure there are a few other things just waiting to fail. I can still use it and know how to still make it work, but I was talking with a local chimney sweep and he recommended I check out the Jotul F500 since it is rear vent and I need that since it is in a corner, and he works with this local stove shop and could do the install easily. I looked at it yesterday, it's nice, I like the left side loading door as that would work nicely for me, not too crazy about the catalytic converter although they told me it isn't as "finicky" as the older styles, so I'm thinking about it.
If you have one could you please let me know your thoughts on it, both good and bad? I searched and saw some threads but I'd like some up to date responses if I could, thanks in advacne!!
