I built a new house last year, moved in almost exactly a year ago.I've called several sweeps in the area and not one has returned my call. There is an excellent place that I talked to that does not come into my area.If anyone knows of a good sweep in the Lincolnton NC area I would appreciate it.I have a bis ultima and would really like to have the chimney cleaned before getting to deep in this season.I would clean it myself, but don't feel brave enough with the chimney height.

Just a word of encouragement for you. I had to literally stalk my chimney sweep back when I wanted him to install my stove and pipe. I would leave message after message and then low and behold I actually got him to answer his phone one day and we rolled from there. I would urge you to keep trying. This is the busy season for them but the squeaky wheel gets greased and all that!

Get your chim cleaned in the summer when they are bored, problem solved.

As mentioned this is one of their busiest times of the year . . . it can be pretty hard to get in touch with them around this time of year.
