In looking at the manual for this stove, it appears that when placed in a corner there's reduced clearance as compared to being straight back into the same corner.

Is this normal for small wood stoves?

The (paper) manual I'm looking at was at:
[del]http://www.cfmcustomercare.com/elements/uploads/files/Manual_FW240007_EN.pdf[/del]

I just want to make sure I'm interpreting this manual correctly - it seems counter intuitive.

Thanks!

Thanks to DeePee for posting the specs I was talking about.

For some reason the link to the pdf doesn't work, it just throws me to the main customercare page with a picture of a grill on it no matter whether I click it or paste the whole thing?

I have the same stove and I believe I went with 15" clearance on the back.
