Next time type out the full name rather then abbreviating it so mt wife does not ask what I am grinning about.;lol

Edit: Or is that the actual name of the place?

I got the PowerSmith ash vac for $59.99 at Ocean State Job Lot. It seems to work well.
I have the powersmith as well got it last year for 79. It works great good buy for 59.99

x2

But I will say that mine heats up too much and shuts down frequently.

I discussed it with PS when I originally got it. I'm going to touch base with them again and see what they say.

I have not used the ash vac on the stove as of yet, suction does seem to be plenty for the size of the unit. Been using a larger shop vac for many years, definitely better suction but not ideal for the ash when it blows back out the exhaust.

Still have my ash vac when i bought my stove in 1998, dont know the brand but it's popular, the suction isn't the greatest but it works

Intresting I have only had that happen to my once and I had it on for a long time. I vac my stove out twice a week no matter how little the ash is just out of habit. At most I have the vac on for 10 minutes. Powersmith is great they will send you a replacement if it's the unit. I called about an attachment I was missing and they sent it right out to me without any question.

Actually, it's the store name (BJ's Wholesale Club) and abbreviation for Berkley and Jensen. A membership type retailer like Sam's Club featuring mostly bulk items. They have areas of seasonal items as well, and their stocked items change.

The day I wrote that I got a flyer in the mail tellming me to join the BJ club, I wonder if they get som real hecklers in the store and phone calls.
I was corrected once. At my house, we have a running list for "BJ's", when it gets big enough, my wife goes shopping. Make sure you bring extra$$ for all those unexpected purchases! And who knows if they get those type of phone call?!

I have this Cleva vac, have it for 4 years now. At 1st it was great, the suction was super but at 4 years old it seems to have lost a TON of suction, doesn't do nearly a good a job as it used to. I was actually thinking of buying the powersmith at Ocean State discussed in this post but lots of folks do complain about how hot the vac gets.
