Ed, you just told everyone one of the big reasons why I do the cutting during the winter months! Besides, the sap is down too and no worry about any bird or animal nests being taken down. One more big reason is I hate hot muggy weather and we get too much of that here. I don't mind sweating but I don't like having to clean the sweat from my glasses every few minutes. I'd rather take my coat off once I begin to sweat.
