Hey All,

I noticed that the side door on my old Dutchwest is not aligning properly when I close the door. At first I thought that the gaskets were in bad shape but it seems that the hinges are somewhat off. there seems to be a gap when I close the door. Will definetely fail the Dollar Test. Can I just take the door off the hinges and put it back on properly or is there more to it?

If an inspection of the hinges doesn't reveal the problem try adjusting the door latch.By loosening the lock nut on the stricker screw you can screw the stricker screw out to make the door latch tighter. Good luck!
