Hey all,
So I have a Breckman p23fs pellet stove which has been very loud lately, I believe it is the convection blower. The noise started off as a rattle, but seems to have progressed to a louder, grinding noise. If I spin the blades with the stove off it makes a similar sound, so I don't know if the blower is loose or off balance, or even if either of those are possible. The blower also has not been working well lately, it has been shutting off even at lower heat levels so I don't think its from overheating. I've tried cleaning it out, so I don't know if the blower is bad or if there is something else I can do. I've heard some people say it needs to be oiled, I have not done that and am unaware of how to do it, if anyone thinks that could help and could point me towards some resources that show how to do it I'd be very grateful. Any insight into my problem will be much appreciated, thanks.
