I think I decided on a piping solution. What's the general thought on ProPress? Looks to be a great application. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have been installing press systems for plumbing and heating for over 20 years now. I am confident in the connection. Fittings are more expensive, time and safety are the main selling features for contractors.

Tool cost have dropped, and many wholesalers have loaner tools.

More and more cities are requiring "burn permits" or hot permits if torches are used on permitted jobs. In addition to the paperwork hassle it requires two men to be on the procedure.

A jobsite sign from a contractor friend in the DC area.

Its what my installer used. Not cheap, but no issues with it. Then again, no copper is cheap these days...

Have you considered black pipe? When I installed my system it was much, much cheaper than copper...

I considered black pipe but like the idea of propress. Very quick and not messy. Fittings and a gun.
