Today I cleaned my 15' chimney with a poly brush and was unable to get all the creosote out of the 5.5inch flex liner.
Is it normal to have some black residue left in the creases?

There ain't nuttin wrong with that cleaning job. Burn'em if you got 'em. If you are expecting shiny, your gonna do alot of work with very little to gain.

thanks Jags, that's what I thought.

chimney looks good, but now you gotta clean the stove. Tip I picked up was to put a vessel of sorts inside stove. It works perfectly. I found a shoe box, which is easily disposed of.

Great tip. Thanks

Good burning bluefrier.
