Welcome. Is the stove pipe single-wall? If so it could be installed upside down.

Can you show some pictures of the overall stove installation and a closeup of the goo and pipe joint it is leaking from?

Yes, you have the pipes upside down.
Plus there are other problems. you shouldn't have much, if any, liquid creosote running down your pipe.

LOL, upside down pipes and burning unseasoned wood are always a recipe for a mess.
