Is anyone finding pellets any where in central CT? I am not seeing anything at the big box stores???

Come to eastern CT. North Windham Home Depot has Stove Chow, Heatr's, and I can't remember the third. Tractor Supply in North Windham also has some.

Thank you. Going to give them a call.

Looks like they stock Heater's, Stove Chow and a brand from Maine? $249 a ton? Which would you buy? Any experience ?

Out of those three, I've only burned the Stove Chow. They burn just fine in my stove. Some of the others should be able to chime in on the Heatr's and the Maine Brand. I scanned the UPC on the Maine Brand and they came back as Maine Woods Pellet Company.

Thanks Skier76!

I bought a ton of the AWFs and have been burning them for a few weeks. I really like them. They burn well and put out some good heat. I wouldn't hesitiate to buy more should they be available. They're a few bucks ($20-30or so?) more a ton vs the other brands at the depot. But worth it to me.

I'm on a trip and my wife is running the pellet stove. Started using Green supremes but they are sticking to sides and have formed a bridge twice and the stove shut down. I had her remove most of the pellets and replace with AWF Ultras. Stove running well again.

Damn Green Supremes strikes again!

I found AWF UP White Pine at HD in E Springfield. Called numerous others close by and none had any. Only 22 miles from me so I went and bought two tons yesterday. They had about 30 tons at $269.

new to pellet burning, never tried the brand, but Big Y in Tolland Connecticut has multiple pallets out front. inferno.

Welcome, and don't ever burn Inferno pellets. A search of this site will tell you why......

I swear, the local Big Y near me has as many Infernos as they had a month and a half ago. People must be avoiding them...
