Darn things keep multiplying

I kept telling myself I don't need another saw.

So I figured might as well buy two.That should do it for a while. I'm not a fan of new tech, prefer the tried and true. But gotta admit those flippy caps are nice.

I jealous of the fact that decent saws even show up for sale on CL or whatever. The only thing that ever goes up around here is a ragged out 028/029 for $350.

Nice! I am looking at a new Farm or Wood Boss, there are too many models, have an older small saw (great for limbing)which is pictured but need a good homeowners model with some juice. I am not as hardcore as you guys (especially Mad Dog)so take it easy on me.

It's a 361 and an ms 200 rear handle. Both run fine and work as they should.

Paid less than parts saws are going for on eBay. Might sell the 200. Not sure yet it may come in handy in my aerial lift.

And heres the current lineup ms200, 026, 361 and 660. I have my 029s for sale locally. Gotten several interesting trade offers but I'm holding out for an ice storm so people will overpay.

I would trade my 260 and an 036 Pro for a 361! Nice line up you have there.

Its the best of the best (036-360-361 -362. Same line up, but the 361 ruled). All the others are no joke and my 036 Pros are by far the best in power to weight ratio...

MS200 back handle is a keeper, I love back-handled versions of the MS192 and MS200/201.
026 probably gets the majority of the action.
361 for when your cutting buddy shows up with a "Farm Boss".
MS660 is for the big 'uns or when the women folk are lookin'.

Yeah mine is the one for 235. Great saw but I bet you'll be happier with the 346xp.

I'm sure something like a 029/290 would have worked fine for me but they all felt a little heavy, the 346xp/MS261 on the other hand felt "right". In the end I could get the 346xp for quite a bit less then the MS261. The reviews I read (mostly over at AS) seemed to make them quite equal of each other once you got past the folks that would only own brand X.

I really wanted a Jonsered 2153 (same saw as the 346xp) but they're not around, I guess the distributor is changing. J-Reds used to be the common saw in these parts...I like old school.

I've got 2 tanks through my 346XPG so far and it is super impressive........ I did of course mod the muffler before it ever touched wood
