I went to the Lowes site to find stock for another 10 bags. I am in NE NJ. One Lowes about 20 miles away had pellets for $4.12 a bag. I saw a Lowes 20 miles in the other direction had much more stock so I headed over there instead. When I got there I realized they were $4.82 a bag. Went home and check the web site again and sure enough the price at the store I went to was .70 a bag more. I guess they could be better pellets but the stove chow I got at HD last time was $3.96 a bag and they actually burnt just fine in my Englander. Moral of the story is when you are on a big box site. Check the price at each store.

were $209 last year, $219 this year here in Ct under $4 a bag is a bargain

Just ask them to do a price match. All they do is call the store where you saw them cheaper.

$4.98 at Lowes and thrilled. Friday afternoon saw an actual on-hand quantity on-line at a Lowes about six miles from the office, and ducked out from work early to catch some before gone. I could only risk four bags in the Honda roadster (low gross weight limit) but at least my wife, suffering from sniffles, had a warm fire for the weekend. Heck, I would have paid $6.98 gladly -- however I read mixed reviews on "Freedom Fuel".
