So I'm installing my stove in my workshop and going up through my attic and the attic is unfinished and has no insulation. I have insulation panels as the ceiling. I have a ceiling support for going up to the attic, then Class A Chimney from there....do I need the Attic insulation shield since there is no insulation and there won't be. I'm planning to build a box around the Chimney in the attic since I do use the attic for storage.

If the chimney pipe is chased in a box then no it isn't necessary. Be extra careful to vacuum out the top of the chimney support before the final side is put on so that it is totally clean. And keep the chase walls at least 2" away from the chimney pipe.
