Just installed a Drolet ht1200.. it seems to have a secondary burn chamber i don't see no tubes or anything , at least i hope it does have secondary

Hi, just installed one of these in my shop, it' used of course prob from late 90's. pretty sure EPA but i am in Canada anyways..

anyways installed this, burns pretty nice but i guess it has a baffle and things not cat, but seems to have a secondary burn chamber.

Anwyas looked up the stats and saw this model has the worst of the Drolet HT series for the emissions, i was hoping i just paid $200 for a high efficiency stove with secondary burn, it is for a shop used sparing ly but was hoping not to smoke my elderly neighbour up. After installing looked it up and noticed that the next model op the drulet HT2000 that you can still by had about the same efficiency but under 4 g/h of polluion.. is that extra 2.5 g/h going to be a huge deal really ?

is this decent efficiency and pollution levels ? Any tips on how to get the secondary burn chamber hot enough to burn the smoke quicker and to keep it ? it seemed to be very little smoke coming up at times but took at least 45 min or so to get there and before it smoked a lot.

It's not the cleanest burning stove on the block, but burn dry, fully seasoned wood and it should be ok. Keep the air control open enough so that the fire doesn't smolder.
