I purchased a Duravent w/cleanout Tee to install.
The vent has an interior pipe and an exterior pipe with gasket material in between the two
My combustion blower will not fit into the interior portion it is just a bit too big.
My questions are do you install the Tee directly to combustion blower housing? or is an extension needed to go from blower housing to the tee?
Or does the blower go directly into the inner portion of the tee or into the portion that has the gasket material??
Thanks
Mark
PS I searched around a bit but could not find what I was looking for

You need a stove adapter. T attaches to that.

Thanks for your response is this what I am looking for (broken link removed) ? I called Tractor Supply where I purchased Tee the nice Lady had no clue as to what I was talking about.

That's it. Need to hi temp silicone it to stove and usually put in a few sheet metal screws also. Don't skimp on the silicone or it might get a leak.

Lot here buy from dynamitebuys.com.

Thanks richhorn, I did go to TS and the part was marked "appliance" that is probably why girl was confused and to a certain degree myself.
I do have plenty of hi-temp silicone and sheet metal screws. thanx again!

3pvp-ad or 4pvp-ad depending on exhaust size, Simpson part numbers.

Ok I got the adaper to go from stove to Tee, but it appears that I need another adapter to go from the exhaust portion of the tee to my exhaust pipe any thoughts?

What is your vent pipe that you need to go into? Flex liner up a chimney, another piece of Duravent?

Let us know and post pics if you can.

My flexpipe (stove exhaust) initially went over my combustion blower outlet.
I went to line up the flexpipe to the exhaust portion of tee and tee portion is too big for flexpipe,
Just for fun I lined up the stove adapter I got and it too is too big by about a 1/4 inch.
I'm open for suggestions.

I have ordered the part through dynamite buys.
Thanx again for your help,
Mark

Cool. Hope it goes together with no problems. I never used that dura vent flex adapter but it looks like the tapered end inserts inside the flex liner and attaches together somehow. Maybe screws.

I use ICC Excel pipe.

It should fit. Sometimes when there is a hose clamp on the top and bottom of the adapter it makes things tricky. Usually I end up cutting the lower hoseclamp off and use silicone, screws and tape.Every liner is different, every adapter is different. As a long time installer I can tell you a lot of this is about adaptation through trial and error while following code lol
