Hey all. New to the forum. Lurked for a while. Any how right to the point. A close relative bought a house with two wood stoves in it. One it a dutchwest federal. Looks to be in pretty good shape. This person is looking to sell the stove. I'm fairly new to wood burning myself.

So perhaps some of you may be able to help me figure a value on the stove. There appears to be no rust. And the stove is complete. The previous owners used it daily. That's really all I know.

Thanks in advance.

$250 to $300 unless there is a new cat to go with it then a bit more

There should be a plate on the back with the model number. Which one is it? And when was it manufactured?

Up to $500 if it has a single door and a newer cat. Double door only $150-300. Some parts are becoming obsolete on these models.
