I have had my Enviro Mini for a couple of years and the issue of the stove shutting off a few seconds after the starting is getting progressively worse. I looked through the posts on this subject and have also been through the manual. Can anyone explain what's causing the issue and how I might be able to fix it.

Thanks

I am currently burning Athens pellets. Definitely higher ash and not as much heat as the Corinth pelets or Pennintons that I burned last year.

Have you checked your manual?

1. The stove will not start

• Make sure the stove is plugged in and the wall outlet is supplying power.. (Have to love that one!)
• If the Control Board has been placed in ON/OFF thermostat mode, then turn the thermostat up to call for heat.
• Check the Heat Level Indicator. – If the #2 light is flashing (see the # 2 light is flashing)
• Check the fuse on the circuit board.
• If the unit still does not start, contact your local service dealer for service.

Yep, plugged in and it will start eventually so it is not the fuse. I don't have a description of what the blinking number 2 light is and what tto do about it. Maybe the dog ate that page of the manual. Can you elaborate??

Thanks

Can you explain a little better please?

Does it start and feed pellets and then burn out then shut off? Or does it start an not drop pellets and shut off??

Reply to Jay: Yes the auger will turn and pellets will drop. The stove is not on long enough for the pellets to light. I have the stove outlet as straight out the wall and I am wondering if this could simply be a matter of build up in the outlet pipe from burning dirtier pellets? If I have to futz with the vacuumn tube I am scratching my head over how to access it. Anyone with a mini??

From page 23 of the technical manual linked in a post above--

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. Light # 2 on Heat output bar flashing
(The Vacuum Switch contacts have opened for more than 15 sec.)
Pinch, break or blockage in Vacuum Hose - Check hose for pinch points or damage, replace or re-route as required. Blow out Vacuum Hose
Blocked Hose Barb on Exhaust Channel - Use a paper clip to clean out Hose Barb or remove the Vacuum Hose from the Vacuum Switch and blow into the hose to remove blockage.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This started happening after about the first three tons. I removed the side panel, pulled the vacuum hose off its fittings and blew through it. It was full of fly ash.
Replaced the hose and no problem for a couple weeks, then it started again. Removed the vacuum hose again and blew through it but it wasn't clogged. Used a paper
clip and vacuum cleaner to clean out the tiny holes in the hose fittings at both ends and stove has worked fine since. I should have read the manual more carefully
the first time.

Thanks for the help, everyone. The stove seems to be working better. I also appreciate the reference to the tech manual as this didn't come w/my stove.
