Hello fellow members and very specifically Vermont castings reliance owners.
I just wanted to share my recent experience and research findings on what I believe
to be a common issue that plagues the owners of this type of pellet stove.
Does your VC auger run constantly at full speed pushing your fire into the ash pan or
getting so hot it trips the overlimit switch causing the fire to go out and leaving your
heated area cold. Mine has done just this since I brought it home a year ago.
But as of yesterday it runs like new
If you have this pellet stove with this issue feel free to PM me - don't give up on that stove
yet I will help you to get it going again. I also have replacement/upgraded the thermocouple
as well and can provide info for you to do the same. Its so easy a caveman can do it with ~$40 in
parts, that includes the price of the thermocouple!!
If you have one of these stoves that exhibits this situation, and want to unload it. PM ME
if you want to fix it, PM me I will give you the options.
