I got the last tree (southern red) that fell in the Derecho storm last summer yesterday. It has been taunting me because I could see it from my house which is in the clump of oaks across the field in the pic below. Now it is in the barn and all is well. At least for 2014-15.

Foragefarmer that was a nice straight tree right out in the open for you. Worst part of that job was brushing off the snow. Hope it keeps you good and warm when ready to burn
