My old Whit has been good to me for another heating season! So good, I have treated the stove with new firebrick. Ahhhh, looks brand new, but I notice that there is a gap, and the flame is going in. Is this a problem, or have I not took notice to this before. My old brick had a gap, from use, but I can't say if flame went in.
BTW, I was still offered by one of the pellet stove employees, if I ever replace my stove, he would like to buy it.

I got a couple Whits. The Quest I think has good looks with its heavy cast door, cheap and easy to replace Fasco oilable fan motors and simple controls. Who needs auto ignition here in MN.
Bought mine in 93. Had very few problems, but the fine people here straighten that out. Oh... and a match does work wonderful.
