Dang it! I wish I lived closer. Awsome.

There is some really crazy looking stuff in that last batch. A couple of those bird houses look like the houses in a cartoon type wicked witch story.
 
Thanks! I went with handbuilt roofs. One is actually a clock. The windows, angles etc were made to look Dr. Seussish- weird proportions, odd angles, etc. I have fun with that sort of stuff

Huh - a clock - who wudda thunk?
 
There are places where they do that in kilns. At high temp, and with the right kiln, it probably isn't that dirty burning. Air is let in through passive dampers at the back to slow air flow- it also may act as secondary-combustion air.

I always love the pics of the kiln in action! I love my coffee mugs, you do great work, I get comments about them all the time! Keep it up. :-)
