How long has the firewood been seasoned?

It takes firewood approximately 90 days to season before it burns optimally. Most firewood we deliver has been seasoned between 8 and 9 months.

90 days after it has been cut, split and stacked for about a year. I'm sure that's what they meant.

....specifically during the months of December thru February when humidity is lowest.

Maybe they mean in an outside fire pit. Probably seasoned in log form too!

After you put it in the stove and start trying to light it.

Naw, it sits on the lot for 90 days after being seasoned with 2 stroke exhaust and bar oil so that it can adsorb the full scent of same and give that true backwoods experience- you know the one where they find the hapless couple frozen in position in a remote cabin with a Frankilin stove full of wet wood and an empty box of matches.

I found the site. From their firewood section...
"* FIREWOOD IS NOT FULLY SEASONED AT THIS TIME.*"

The good news, is that you can buy it and season it yourself within a few weeks.

Season with only black pepper, sage and garlic powder for the first 89 days... on day 90, take it with a grain of salt.

Enjoy it medium-rare, with a crunchy layer of flaming creosote. With any luck, have a house-warming party and let the sparks fly, maybe invite your friends from the fire department over for the BBQ.

90 days, that's rich. He's honest about his "seasoning" time, at least. :)

Well sure . . . 52 weeks and it will be nicely seasoned . . . 52 counts as "a few weeks", right? ;)
