Good dealer in Eastern, Central MA, or Southern NH?

I am about to buy a Jotul F500, I will probably be doing the install of the liner myself (oval Dura-vent). I may get the shop to do the install of the stove.

Any experiences with shops in this area - good prices, good installs, dealing with warranty issues?

They subcontract the installs to a very good crew. Also,when I had a warranty issue (very noisy fan) they ordered a replacement and had someone out to install within a day of their getting a replacement from the factory

Them not selling Jotul stoves might be a slight problem for him.

I got my stove insert from a place in Chelmsford, MA last year. The place is called Chelmsford Fireplace Center. Their website is chelmsfordfireplace.com. This is where I got the best deal I could find. I was actually surprised that they had the best deal. I was able to get the stove and chimney liner as a package deal. They told me a price for the package deal if I used a credit card, $100 off if by check. Then I said another $100 off if I pay with cash and they said yes. The that price included taxes. Pretty laid back place with a lot of stoves to choose from. I believe that they carry Jotuls but give them a call to make sure. I think that they can get just about any stove. When I was deciding on which stove to get I asked them about one that I was interested in, they didn't carry it but looked it up and said they could get it for me if I want it. I installed it myself so I don't have any experience with their installation. I was also able to return some extra parts from the chimney liner kit that I didn't use and put them toward a nicer door for the insert. Overall I was pretty happy with them and would recommend them. Can't say enough about these guys. I received a fair pricing on the whole package (better than all competitors I met with) and professional all the way through.

Good selection of stoves (retail), but subs who perform installation (my first stove)I give a thumbs down.........not going to get negative on this forum, so PM me if you want my experience.

After moving to a new home, went back to look for an insert and see if things have changed, and my salesperson was "perhaps" 20 years old, and did not have a clue....might have just went at the wrong time.
