I finished assembly on this guy last night and ran a few rounds through. The price was right and i live close enough that i could save the freight and pick it up. It doesnt cycle real fast (19 second cycle time) but it seems to be fairly well built. The machine has stickers all over it not to tow faster than 25mph, thats ok i have a trailer too...All together i spent $1,000 including hydraulic fluid, engine oil, and fuel. http://www.grizzly.com/products/22-TON-HYDRAULIC-LOG-SPLITTER/G0639

I've seen that before. I am surprised how the foot is constructed. I would expect it to bend over time.

We shall see.I can look later but it is done very robust construction.

Wish I lived closer to a Grizzly outlet store...lots of tools I didn't know I needed until I got their catalog! Congrats on your purchase-hope its a good one for you.
