Hamer Hots produce very good heat for a hardwood.. downside is u will get lot of ash...
same with barefoot, Tru-wood. But those 3 are much better than most box store hardwoods..

should mention that I burn softwoods most of winter due to lowest ash and higher btu than hardwoods.
the hardwoods i burn are for early fall [ or shoulder season] when the real cold has not surfaced yet/.

Actually, I was going to ask the OP if there were any premium softwood pellets available there. I believe it is all mostly hardwood.
I burn Eastern Embers and it is softwood. It is excellent. I would never switch.

I work the other way around, a 50/50 blend, fall and spring, and Cubix hard wod during the cold
months. Cubix has a greater BTU than the Fusion Blend 50/50 both made by the same flooring company in Quebec

Ok thank you . I can get awf . American wood fibers our easyblaze also
I looked up those EZ Blaze pellets. The specs look look like mine which are made from spruce, fir and pine. That is what I would burn if I was down there. I think they are even better than mine as they are "Super Premium"

Here are my top 6 results for temperature of air coming out of the distribution holes of my P43 (using oven thermometer). Cubes and Fusion Blend were the hottest burning pellets I've ever burned (not sure why the plain Fusions - basically Cubix - burned a bit colder.. The Fusion Blend was the hottest, but it also had a weird, gravelly ash that I was not fond of. Here are my top temps - note that 3 out of the 6 are hardwoods (I was shocked by the GS hardwoods).
