So, stove is about 4 years old and i think the control board just died.... I've attached a picture. Fan starts and shuts off...light will turn on, but nothing. Screen is blank except a line at the top. Is it pooched? If so, i can't believe they want 500$+ for this little board and screen.

Welcome to the forum
I can say for sure, but it sounds like the Magic Smoke has escaped from your board.
Someone with Harman experience will be along and to help

Two questions. Have you tried unplugging and replugging the stove in? Is the stove plugged into a surge protecter?

Ive unplugged multiple times, took it appart ro see if anything appeared out of the ordinary…no luck.

Never been on a surge protector, never had issues, nothing else affected in the house at that time.

Can they just die?

Little surges do add up after time. It might be some power supply issue. Without the schematic you would have to be
a very experienced electronics person to figure it out. Search to see if you can find a company that does repair or sells
re-built ones and trade yours in. Other than repairing or getting a used/rebuilt one, you are looking for new.
You should look at getting a whole house surge protector that goes in your panel if you have room. It will protect everything
in your house.
