Hi,

Over the past couple months, the Auger in my P35i has started to make some loud rumbling noises on occasions. Most of the time I do not get any unusual noise from the auger, however, every so often (maybe once every 5 minutes) the auger makes a horrible rumbling noise.

Before I go an start replacing parts, do any of you have any recommendations or confirmations on what the problem is?

See a video with sound of the rumbling noise:

I appreciate the video but was unable to hear the problem you refer to , I know from some experience the pellets can cause a slight noise when being fed and if long enough will cause a bit of a shearing racket when being screwed into the auger tube and from what I understand the bearings don't usually go on the Harmans . if you clear out the hopper and if the side plate of the auger body can be removed like P series - they have a cover plate you remove and clean out the "fines " area . c heck your auger body for a cover plate on the side of the body , it may be the same and look for a wingnut and loosen . some other members will chime in here that are more familiar with the p35 . the cleanouts on the pseries is on the side body of the auger body just below the hopper where it joins to the auger body.. hope this helps
