Hi all, was hearing some clunking from auger turning. Emptied hopper to get a look at slide plate, figuring it was just fines. While looking down at slide plate from hopper, I accidentally pushed it way to the right while scraping the fines off, now it is stuck in that position and I can't move it/push it back to the left.

Any ideas?

Below see pictures from behind stove, looks like slide plate is hanging out the left side. Can't move it at all.

Remove the 2 bolts that hold that bearing on, that will give you a little slop. Tap the slid plate back over till it drops into its spot.

Haha, I appreciate your help so much!

So I loosened the bolts as shown in the picture, and just tapped the slide plate with a small hammer (being careful not to hit my old 2-knob control board) and eventually got it to fall back into place.

I can't thank you enough!! Always seems to happen to me, I always go one step too far or made a dumb mistake on a simple job and it turns into a 2-hour issue. But that's how you learn I guess.
