Hi,
Just had my end of the year cleaning done. The tech (serviced the P68) for years, replaced the blower fan and assured me the "louder noise"was the auger but it will not cause the stove not to run. Is he right? Thx, Marina
p.s. This is my 7 th burning season with the stove..

I would be concerned about the auger motor making more noise and if it were me I would be pulling the entire unit out(auger and motor assembly) and polishing the feed tube and auger and possibly painting the auger with graphite paint and making sure the rest of the feed system was clean and free of any build up. Probably get a backup motor on hand.
