I have never met jtakeman but when I read his posts I hear the voice of Jean Sheperd. For those who don't know, Shep, among other things in his illistrious career was the voice of an adult Ralphie in A Christmas Story and also the inspiration for the Kansas City DJ in Jack Kerouac's "On the Road".

I've never given his voice much thought, but I have visualized him as Homer Simpson.

I work with a guy that look just like that.

I would have thought this belonged in the 'nook, but what do I know??????????

I have never met jtakeman but when I read his posts I hear the voice..........

I hear the soothing voice of Mike Rowe (in a Discovery Channel Show):)

I just always give everyone the same voice....Tom Bosley...with the funny accent he used when he played the Sheriff on Murder She Wrote.

"Ovah heya you'll find the muhduh weapon Miss Fletcha"

First you ought to be asking yourself why you are 'hearing' voices in the first place of forum members. They have group meetings for fellas like that I'm sure. Usually not a good sign.

The only voice I hear says something like I need more wood or I need more pellets.
Followed by my wife's saying 'your a geek on the computer reading about wood and pellets'.
She only puts up with me because I keep the place warm in doing so.
I don't even like it above 65F. Go figure.

Pellets pellets pellets.....there, now this thread can stay here.

If you fella's think your getting on my xmas list? Ahh no and I told Santa you all requested lumpy wet pellets and to plug your vents with raindeer poo!
