Hello all,

I am looking for some guidance regarding the correct position of the front baffle support bar on our Hearthstone Phoenix wood stove. Right now it is currently positioned as seen in the attached photos. When loading the stove we use caution to not come in contact with the support bar, however we have noticed that it is easily movable. Since noticing this (once the fire was out) I decided to poke around the support bar to see if it was in the correct position or not. After doing this it appears that there could be multiple different ways to position this baffle support bar however I have not been able to find any documentation to verify if the way it is currently positioned is correct or not.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Good Morning Jimberz
I am having some problems getting my new Phoenix up to temperature. In particular, the stove top tempera ture readings and the secondary burning. I have read any and all threads but still not sure if my situation is normal or not. It seems like your Phoenix is new, Is there any way that we can connect via email or phone to compare notes? Thanks.
