Check the wiring at the power strip. The 6 volt transformer plug should be plugged into the first outlet on the strip. It is marked "Trans"
The Aux module has a small 110v whip that plugs into the back of the Aux module and the male end plugs into the second outlet on the power strip marked "Remote". The fan plugs into the far right side of the AUX module, not into the third outlet on the power strip that is marked "Fan". That outlet on the power strip is not used on this model. Make sure that you have 110v to the power strip and that you are not using batteries in the back up tray.

Lastly, sometimes you need to repair the remote for it to recognize the aux components.

I will definitely check this out asap, strange how the fireplace works fine. Must be on a different part of the module. Thank you i will let you know the outcome.
