Heatilator ZC needs insert

Hello all. I have been reading a good bit on here of late, and find it extremely helpful. I have a Heatilator EL42 ZC fireplace. Its terrible for heating. Just pretty to look at. I was thinking of going with an insert. My fireplace opening is 20 and 3/4 inches tall. 42 inches wide in the front and 26 inches wide in the back. 18 inches deep. My hearth is 17 inches deep. I live in southern Louisiana and my house is only 4 years old. Very open floor plan with 12 foot ceilings in the living room and 10 foot everywhere else. 2200 sq ft of living space. I also have an offset in my chimney. I will attach photos. I have looked at many of the small insert and I am leaning towards the Regency H2100. My question is, would this be a good insert for my situation. Sorry for all the pics, and thanks for all the help.

It doesn't get extremely cold here, but my electric bill is killing me during the few winter months we do have.

Any ZC rated insert that you get will be on the small side, are you ok with having 3-4 hour burn times?

Yeah. The burn times do not really concern me. I would not be burning all day long. Just mainly afternoon and night. I am up every few hours overnight. So thats not even an issue

The Regency would probably work out fine.

What about the offset in the chimney? Any problems pulling a liner threw those?

If that is 10" pipe a 6" flex liner with a pull cone "should" be able to make that bend.

Ok. That sounds great. Was thinking of tearing all that out and putting a freestanding stove. Just seems like over kill for where I am located.
